Thygraphs, Please
Thygraphs are a new and welcomed addition to Dear Thyroid. Once a month, via Facebook and Twitter, we’ll be asking you, Dear Thyroid readers one of the below questions:
- Your funniest thyroid moment
- Most embarrassing
- Most tragic
- Unexpected happening
- Lesson-learning moment
- Something impactful on your friends and/or family
- Uncomfortable situation
- A situation you tried to get out of because of your disease
- A time you had to make an outlandish excuse to accommodate your disease
- Oddest excuses you’ve made
- The many ways you’ve explained to people what thyroid disease is
- The many your explanations of thyroid disease you’ve given and people’s reactions to your disease
- Words of wisdom people have given you about living with a disease
- Shitty advice people have given you
- The most bizarre thing your body has done in front of people
- The advice you would give your thyroid gland, pre-disease/pre-diagnosis
In 200 words or less, you’ll submit your yarns. You can also email your Thygraphs to us. At the end of the month, we’ll post everyone’s Thygraph.
