Thyreeeeezing
Dear Thyroid,
When everyone else complains about the heat… when everyone else snickers at us when we go to bed… when the whole rest of the world just won’t understand… you are the only one that truly knows why we still sleep with two quilts on the bed… in Summer… in Texas.
Keepin’ it hot in bed,
Mike
(Bio) Mike has the nobody-knows-why-type of hypothyroidism for at least the last 9.5 years. He’s only 36 now, but feels 63.

I like your letter! Short, sweet and definitely to the point. I understand too, I often find that I get randomly cold and I’m often completely oblivious to heat. Sweating too? It’s DISGUSTING! 🙁
Thanks for sharing Mr. Mike! 🙂
Ahh, Mike. I was just wearing my sheepskins slippers the other day. I feel you!
