Dear Thyroid:

Well, today I received my blood work results and it looks as though the new medication is not working, which I didn’t need the blood work to know.

My TSH.022 and my T4 .14!  What I do not understand, is why the insurance company will not let me back on my cytomel, but on their generic!  So, I wish the insurance company was carrying around the extra weight, the so-tired-I can-barely-move body, and the severe chills!   Hmmmmm!  Do you think they may change their minds?

OK!,   Miss Thyroid, it is time for you and me to take action and fight this even more.   True, I am just short of 60, but I will feel younger than 80!   So, lets you and me make a deal.   You try a bit harder to adjust and I will work harder in getting the doctor to listen to me.   So, this way you and I will win!

(Bio) I am 59 years young, with a wonderful supporting husband and a son who we are both so proud of.   I am an artist that designs names with positive thoughts for children and for adults. I look at things that are a challenge as gifts that we can either accept and enjoy or scoff at and not appreciate what this challenge is.
