Haiku's, Thyku's, Thyroid haiku's written by Mke Wilson, Thyroid Patients writing about their disease, Dear Thyroid

This thyku Triptych is Inspired by August 19th’s letter written by, Charlene:

O Thyroid, hear me
I am the Terminator
You are marked for death

O Immune System
Why do you despise me so
I have not hurt you

It does not matter
Your helpful ways will end now
Doctors cannot help

(It doesn’t help to hear this in an Austrian bodybuilder accent…)

(Bio) Mike has the nobody-knows-why-type of hypothyroidism for at least the last 9.5 years.   He’s only 36 now, but feels 63.

  1. Since the word Terminator is used all I can think of now is “I’ll be back” 🙂

    Mike,
Once again you have done it with your beautiful Thyku’s. I enjoy reading them. Keep them coming!

Another beautiful Thyku Mike. I too enjoy reading them, but do you know what would make this thycomanic happy, is seeing that muscular body reading it with an Aussie accent. A girl can dream even if she is awake.

  3. anita says:
