News On The Thyadio
First, Dear Thyroid has a new editor! One of our wonderful thyamily members, Joanna Isbill has joined Dear Thyroid as Editor, Thyroid Cancer in Young Adults. Her column titled “Life Redefined” debuts this month. Please welcome her aboard. We’re so excited to have her. You’ve probably seen her around our thymmunity, on Facebook, our website and likely visited her terrific blog “Eye of the Storm“.

We announced the winner of the 6-word monograph contest and have not heard from you, Wendy. Please contact Katie to claim your prize. Robyn had a cool idea that you must check out, if you haven’t already. Click right here.
Speaking of the contest, if you haven’t read ‘News’ lately; you’ll see that Smith Magazine, the founders of 6-word storytelling wrote a wonderful review of Robyn’s contest and included some delicious quotes from Robyn. Thank you, Chris Teja!
Awareness bands update, you’ve read, yes? If not, here it is. Thank you all for your patience! The bracelets are here and we are sending them out. Unfortunately, we’re not a factory, so it takes a bit of time. Once we get these 2,000 orders out, we’ll be able to ship you bracelets/bands straightaway.

Two last things to note, if you haven’t read this week’s installation of Robyn’s column, Going For The Throat: Paging Doctor House, please do. Robyn goes into the diagnostic process, why some diseases are difficult to diagnose and so much more. A terrific read indeed.
