Dear Thyroid Meet-Ups And Support: From Kerri Schwartz
Hello Dear Thyroid!!
This is my first post and I am super excited to be a part of such a fantastic organization! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing community. I am thrilled to help facilitate and organize Dear Thyroid Meet Ups and support groups. It is so powerful to be able to meet with other thyroid patients, make connections, and provide offline support for each other. And of course, we are here to help support this process every step of the way! I am pleased to announce that we have some interest in meet ups in:
- Ohio
- Boston
- Atlanta
- Pasadena
- Pittsburgh
- Chicago
- The Los Angeles Meet-up has lots of people, so come and join Katie and Nicole. Here are the details.
Please email me if you are in these areas and would like to meet up. From there, we will schedule the time, date, and arrange the place. Please look for ongoing posts regarding meet ups and support groups!!
If you don’t see your location listed, let me know in comments or email.

Please note: All local meet-ups must be in public locations; coffee shops/restaurants, etc. Post meet-up, we want to hear all about it. Please email us a blurb about your meet-up and what the experience was like for you. We are HUGE proponents of offline support.

Shame I am not located anywhere near the scheduled Meet Ups. It would be great to hear how the Meet Ups go. Also some photo’s of the Meet Up would be lovely to see as well, so we can put faces to names!! 🙂

Add your location and Kerri will help you schedule a meet up. These locations are just locations our thmmunity has expressed interest in having meet ups. Please let us know your locale.

Coffee Dog, of course there is a point! We are going global with our meet-ups and offline support groups. Wherever your location is, we want to have a meet-up and get you connected with other patients.

Im interested in the OHIO meet up depending on it”s exact location. I’m up by Lake Erie. My hubby works ALOT and Im unable to travel due to that. I have a car myself granted but uninsured lol.
