Someone said butterflies are free to fly, mine flew away from me. I see her sometimes, crouched on a bright luscious flower or flying up and down like a colorful puppet in my peripheral vision. Always just beyond my reach, on a string controlled by others, she sometimes rests near on a branch on a tree of dreams and hopes. Whispering sexy young words to me saying you can do it, just jump higher and fly. So I jump on a trampoline of wisdom and belief, (that I can feel good again). Strengthened with the sweet nectar of blossoming friends, she flits past quickly, but turns this time as if to gently glide home to me.

Simply beautiful I wouldn’t like to be the one judging any of these because you have all brought something unique.

    Dear Myka,
Your butterfly is especially graceful. I see why you miss her. Do you realize how powerful she still is in your life, even if slightly out of reach. Because she still isn’t out of touch! loved it, good luck, Linny

Can I cast a late vote for myself and my butterfly? Glad some of you liked it, I am going out in the garden now to see if I can see my elusive butterfly.
