Today’s edition of Bringing Sexy Out of the Thyloset is written by Chris Kidwell Prestano on her blog Back From the Brink.  Today happens to be a big milestone in Chris’s cancer journey, so you definitely don’t want to miss this post.

Chris puts into words what I think every thyroid cancer patient feels. She so perfectly conveys what it feels like to be told you have the “good” cancer. And the girl is also funny. You HAVE to read about what she does to find humor in the midst of cancer. Let’s just say I’m on the hunt for a Green Lantern t-shirt.

Dear Thyroid is asking everyone to please sign the petition sponsored by Stevie JoEllie’s Cancer Care Fund to have thyroid cancer recognized as a public health issue by the Office of the Surgeon General. Please take thirty seconds out of your day and sign the petition.
