Invisible Illness Week Poetry by, Linny
Graves in my skin by Linda {Linny} V. Larson
I feel it in my fingers,
I feel it in my toes.
The pain that’s all around me
and so the feelings grow
It’s written on the wind
It’s everywhere I go
And though you cannot see it
I just want you to know
My mind didn’t do it
It’s the way I feel
I know you can’t see it
It doesn’t let it show
My blood works in
if you can tell by that
I really doubt it ’cause
it’s where I’m at
It has no beginning
it has no end
The futures looking bleak
I wanta let you in
The only way you’ll believe me
is if it’s in YOUR skin!
So come on do your part
lets find a place to start
It won’t go just cause you
think it can
make a difference with one tiny pill
come on come on
lets get real!
YOU GOTTA DO WHAT YOU CAN
TO MAKE IT SCRAM
and then I’ll know who I am.

HD Thank you very much 🙂
Linny,
Very nice. We do have to do what we can, to make it scram. Some days it is just hard to get my head around it.
