DEAR THYROID^TM

I got my hair did, today
Never thinking about you
Venturing out into the world
I decided a walk with Amelia, her four legs prancing, would be food for my soul
Stopped to grab coffee
I remembered how much I enjoyed the little things
Boys, little ones,
Laughing and singing on the  street corner
Everything is gonna be alright

Invisible Illness is quite serious. Over 49MM people in the US have an invisible illness. The list excludes individuals with thyroid cancers and thyroid diseases. It is my wish and my hope that we continue raising awareness for invisible illness by continuing to write Acrostic Poems throughout the year, so that WE make the list next year. PLEASE KEEP WRITING AND SUBMITTING, using the word INVISIBLE.
