Spiraling out of control, silence becomes normal
Invisible, incomprehensible, incalculable, irreconcilable, ignorance…
Cancer creates fear, cancer alienates those we need for comfort
Knowledge that this is a young person’s disease, kills the fragile scope that death is for the old

Beautiful Poem Dena powerful.
I agree with Lolly. Too often, those we love do not know how to handle the word cancer, so they shy away. No one wants to face the fact that cancer doesn’t discriminate based on age, or sex etc…
