Negotiating is never an option. You shoot to kill.
Even though I pirouette in denial. Contorting myself into a pretzel, pretending to placate you.
Venom rushing through veins. Settling in quiet, unsuspecting places.
Exterminating pieces of me and torturing what remains
Raw and scabbed. I hold my breath. I am ready for your next attack.
