Thank you all for a spectacular 2010. Every single person in this community grew together. We wrote more. We shared more. We learned more about each other’s struggles and successes. We bonded in a very meaningful way. We launched new literary works, Acrostic Poetry and Thyroid Mad Libs, to name a few.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU AND GRATEFUL FOR YOU.

Thanks to Mr. Graves and his pal, Fundamentally Diseased Thyroid, 2010 was a disaster. My Facebook status right now is: “2010 can kiss my shiny white hiney.” And I mean that from the heart of my bottom. BUT – I finally bid adieu to my thyroid (on Christmas Eve, no less) and am feeling surprisingly well already. Still having some ‘washes’ of hyper-itchy sweaties every now and then, but the shakes have not yet seen the new year.
I have high hopes for 2011. I say, “Fear not the thyroidectomy!”
