Acrostic Poetry Using the Word: IGNORANCE, Written by: Ria
Inside my thyroid lobe
Grew a nasty cancer
Named Papillary.
Once discovered,
Removal followed.
After that, RAI.
Now Tg will not subside,
Cancer remnants lingering?
Exasperation floods my mood …

Beautiful poem, Ria
Ria, this is such a beautiful poem. Thank you for writing it and thank you for sharing it with us. I know it’s so hard to be in a state of limbo–you know something abnormal is going on in your body, but you don’t know exactly what or where. You’re so right–it’s exasperating.
Ria;
“Exasperation floods my mood” – Thank you for writing this bit, and for the entire poem. That sentence resonates so hard. I didn’t think that part of mood issues would erupt as a result of exasperation, but you’re right. They do. You’re so right.
Thank you for educating me today.
