Nicole Wells, Dear Thyroid Hearts You
Today is Nicole Wells last official day writing “Fat Thigh-Roid Woes” for Dear Thyroid.
Her columns broke our hearts, lifted our spirits and made us laugh. She is a force of nature; a gritty and soulful dame with altruistic intent. Rarely, do we have the privilege of meeting folks like Nicole. We are so grateful that she came into our lives.
Nicole, as you embark on this next chapter in your life, please know that we adore you, support you and are very excited for you. Congratulations!

I wish Nicole the very best. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all she did to help me. It wasn’t just by chance that she began writing here when I was at the very worst in my disease… She guided me [unknowingly] to the best treatment I could get, and to keep my sense of humor. We all should strive to get to that point in our disease where we can “move on” and not have it be the sole focus of our day, but I am pretty sure it is a rare thing with thyroid disease.
