I have Graves Disease, but it does not have me
Dear Thyroid,
I hear you. This past week has been rough, very rough. You are pointing out each of the way that stress affects my body. I can appreciate that, I don’t like it… but at least I know the signs. If I learned anything from you, it is “pay attention to what your body is saying”.
And now, I will heed the advice of a new ally in my fight against Graves Disease….
” Don’t drag yesterday problems into this brand new day. Give yourself, and those around you, a break and start fresh.”
It works. I have been using this as my morning thought for the past 3 days and I can safely say it has helped.

Beautiful! I always always forget this little piece of advice. Sometimes my shoulders are so tensed that I can’t hear anything much less myself! Tomorrow I will do this. Start all over.
Thanks for the reminder Amanda!
Yay! All we can do is try to make each day a good one, if you start out with that in mind… sometimes it actually works!
