As you can see I have had a total thyroidectomy. My thyroid levels even after 3 years are still in spaz mode. See the medications I have to take now, on a daily basis just to appear human again! I even have to wear a MedicALert bracelet due to allergies! Thyroid disease is the pits!

Cheers

Hang in there. Don’t let your doctors get complacent. Even if your “numbers” look good, they need to understand that you don’t FEEL good and work with you to change that.

I know that look so well. Keep your shin up don’t let the disease get you down but most of all don’t let the bastard docs bring you down!!!

Hi. I was about 9yrs old when my mother made the doctor text my thyroid. That was over 30yrs ago as I am now 42. He tested me a few times because he said kids and I’m talking in the 70’s didn’t have thyroid problems it was what I was eating as to why I was so big. By the time I was 28 I was taking .350 a day yes I do mean .350 I was at 1 point put up to .400 but my doctor wouldn’t keep me on it said that was to high a dose. It is hell to live with and most dont understand what its like to know losing weight isn’t easy for ppl with our problem. I am now on Armor and I LOVE IT finding a doctor tht was willing to try it on me was a blessing. I hope everything works out for you. For me it has gotten better in someways still have weight to loss but its not as hard now.
    Kim
