Just finished week two of my physical therapy & I couldn’t be happier…although, I did have some concerns about my thyroid this week. I woke up with a sore throat last Saturday, (of course the morning of my SAT II Subject Test) and felt my throat closing. I didn’t think much of it at first because I thought that I was just developing a cold. After a full week of pain in my throat after swallowing, I felt my thyroid swelling, or what I thought was my thyroid. I had remembered from my last appointment with my endo, that my thyroid was still inflamed. All week, I was very anxious just thinking about my thyroid and its inflammation. I made an appointment with my doctor to take a strep test, but luckily, it came back negative! Fortunately, nothing was wrong with my thyroid…I just had slight swelling due to my cold and sore throat. It’s really insane what stress can do to a person!

Anyway, besides all that, I had a pretty great week in school. I’m still working on all of my college applications, but all in all, senior year has been looking pretty good.

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to a loyal and good friend yesterday, my pet Basset Hound Molly. She died due to complications with her kidneys at the age of eleven. She was a good pup, and we will all miss her!

RIP Molly

Hope you all had a fantastic week.

Sending much love and support your way,

Tracy<3

Thank you so much Lolly! I didn’t see this post until now. Yes, it was definitely hard saying goodbye to our Molly, but she isn’t in pain anymore.

Thanks for asking about my cold. I am better now…that was very thoughtful of you to ask.

Hope all is well with you. 🙂
