thank you so much for your submission! We will be publishing next week!
I’m confused. I was supposed to submit it through e-mail, correct? Because I saw a couple of entries that asked for votes. Was I supposed to submit my entry a different way?
Thank you,
Stefanie

4 words and what they mean
Knowledge
To know and understand what it is that I need to.
Power
To know that I have the power to accept or change what needs to.
Love
To love myself or others no matter what.
Understanding
To fully comprehend what it is that I need to.
Hi Betty,
I appreciate the clear and concise way you outlined your choice of 4 words. Well done! Live in peace,
Terri
He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything.

Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live….
Beautiful painting. I just sent in my submission.
My four words are: hope, empathy, knowledge and advocate
Knowledge gives us power and understanding. An empathetic advocate can give us hope in living a full life with thyroid disease. A doctor who is a knowledgeable, empathetic advocate, who gives us hope, gives us everything.
love the site and contest
Crying is not a sign of weakness
It is a sign of being strong for to long.
NO MATTER WHAT: SMILE 🙂 I was diagnosed with Graves Disease & hyperthyroidism in March of 2009 when my eyes were noticably protruding, but was unfortunately later than my drs liked finding out so there have been more complications. They tried steroids, radioactive iodine treatment, adjusting & changing my meds but nothing worked. Unfortunately my heart wasn’t in that good shape for surgery but my condition was worsening so my drs were forced to move forward with removing my thyroid fully. That, however, didn’t work either & then my eyes proceeded to cross so now I have constant double vision & have been living with that now for the past 3yrs. I had two decompression surgeries just last year & this year hopefully am expecting to finish the remaining 4-5, though they have already postponed the first one which was supposed to be this month to May. Long story short lol, I am very happy & content with my life & within myself so I really can’t complain. Without getting sick in the first place, I may have never known my true value & purpose in life & for that I am grateful. Like my friends, Marissa Prado & Theo Rossi say “It’s the little things in life” 😀
Hope – I don’t od on sleeping pills
Control – not to blast the doctors that just don’t listen or care.
Humor – I try my best to keep humor and still remember to giggle!
Devotion – that one day I might feel good, like before I got thyroid cancer, and folks will stop making light of this cancer
This is one of the most AMAZING paintings that I have seen! Allyson Averell, you are a Wonderful artist.
