Sixth Entry: Thyroid Literary Contest – Three Words of Encouragement
I AM NOT ALONE
For me, like so many, it took many years to find out what was “wrong” with me. I felt so alone for so long. Once I finally had a diagnosis, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Not that my condition got better, but that I wasn’t crazy, and I wasn’t alone. We are a group of individuals, going through the same thing and having this awareness encourages me to go on each and every day. Knowing that I am not alone gives me the strength and encouragement to get up and fight the good fight day after day.

You are not alone.
I love that. I feel that way too. When my cognitive function is working I can arrive here and read that I am not alone. thank you
