The FDA and Thyroid Medication Can Stick it Where the Sun Don’t Shine
Went in today to pick up my medication and once again another thyroid medication is denied by my medicare insurance Armour.
The Pharmacist stated that the medication was no longer approved by FDA! GREAT! Not that it was really working or anything, but that is 2 medications that the insurance will not cover.
OK! it is bad enough that I have put a bit of weight on, which NO ONE understands with the fist full of food I eat once a day. My throat feels like someone has their hands around it and is strangling me. Now What?
Will go back this afternoon and see what the Pharmacist and doctor came up with and were we can go from here, or is it back to taking nothing at all. Thank goodness my wonderful, loving husband loves me for me and not the way my body looks.
So, I am given a gift, that I will need to figure out how to use and either become a better person, or feel sorry for myself. Am so working on being a better person, but it is hard when you feel so rotten, your barely able to get things done during the day.
Say, Maybe all of us Thyroid people need to get together and FIGHT! for OUR RIGHTS! Stick our heads out the door and say I am MAD AS HECK! AND I AM NOT GOING TO STAND BY ANYMORE!

Ohhh Sharen. I did not know this and I just got an Armour refill not too long ago. My pharmacy didn’t mention it. I am sorry you are having such a tough time and yes! it is difficult to put up a fight when you feel terrible. There must be something that can be done about this! Hang in there! Remember you’re not alone!
This is crazy! I also heard that pharmacies and certain endos are spreading rumors that Armour is no longer produced! And I think you are right! We need to put our heads together and do something! count me if for whatever you need!
