Thirteenth Entry: Thyroid Literary Contest – Three Words of Encouragement
My words are: Ghost of a Chance.
Because loosing my thyroid had so much to do with loosing my whole life and I feel so abandoned and hopeless so many times……. I tell myself to Remember….I still have a Ghost of a Chance….. to rediscover the wings of my life and fly on. It may not be a huge thought or chance, but in my lowest moments I can still find it.

I feel ya Nell you got a vote from me, I know what it’s like to lose your gland and have to struggle daily.
Thank you Lolly. I have a ghost hung on my door. My story is so complicated I hardly believe it. But the ghost of me is still here somewhere. I can feel her. Even when I only see a thread of the fabric of my life. I can not get back all that I have lost. I can only begin again. Make a new life from the ghost. I have that chance. I hope Everyone does. Nell
