Twenty-Fifth Entry: Thyroid Literary Contest – Three Words of Encouragement
“Stronger Now Than Ever”
These are my words of encouragement. I use them often. My hypothyroidism has shown me how strong I am. It took a strong woman to fight the ignorance of doctors and their need to medicate rather than diagnose and treat. My hypothyroidism has helped me weed out my weak relationships and truly value the strong ones. On my worst days, I remind myself how far I’ve come. I have to see my strength especially if others can not.
