IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

I Heart Guts is one of our favorite organizations. They’re near and dear to our hearts for so many reasons. To begin with, they make plushie organs and have a unique and inspiring approach to offering support and building community. You name the organ and IHG makes it – livers and lungs, bladders and brains, and thyroids and parathyroids!

CONTEST:  Acrostic poetry using the word, THYROID. In 7 words, describe what you’ve endured, how you have changed or how you imagine your life to be. Enter your poems in comments on this post. The contest will close at midnight/PST November 12, 2012. On November 13, 2012, we will post the top 3 entries. The entry with the most votes will be announced on November 19, 2012.

WINNER: The winner will receive a thyroid plushie toy delivered to their address. We will connect you with the great folks at I Heart Guts and you will provide them with your “Best” mailing address, so they can send you your thyroid!

When does the contest begin? NOW. Right now!

Enter your Thyroid Acrostic Poem. Be sure to share this with fellow community members.

Good luck!
