We love Mary Shomon so much! Together with My Med Lab, they have created a THYROID APP, which is ready for our use. Please check out this awesome post from Mary and find out how you can get the THYROID APP and share the THYROID APP!

I have exciting news just in time for Thyroid Awareness Month!  Partnering with MyMedLab, I’ve developed a new ThyroidApp.

The free ThyroidApp helps you identify thyroid symptoms and risks, track your symptoms, print reports for your doctor, order medical tests directly and inexpensively, connect with me directly, and get answers to your thyroid questions. Even if you’ve already been diagnosed, the ThyroidApp helps you track your symptoms over time, and provides useful reports you can share with your doctor. Your results will also be aggregated (your privacy is secure) so you can compare your symptoms to the thousands of other ThyroidApp users, and contribute to a major information-gathering effort on thyroid symptoms and solutions!

You can read about my new ThyroidApp in this news release. Watch a YouTube video explaining my new ThyroidApp.

Don’t have a Smartphone, Iphone, Ipad, or Mac? You can use the ThyroidApp right here Facebook!

  1. That is brilliant! I am always am wondering if a symptom is from my hypothyroidism or from something else. Plus the ability to share with my doctor would be very helpful. Is there a way to check my medication? I like to track my GF Thyroid, Ga Adrenal, TMI, and my prescription levothyroxine?

  2. This new app for monitoring thyroid illness symptoms sounds great.
I will certainly consider downloading the code and testing this app so that we can post it up on to the Thyroid Support Ireland site (www.mythyroidireland.webs.com)
We have over a hundred members at TSI now and in 2013, we want to strenghten our links with Dear Thyroid and with other useful patient organisations, such as the Irish Thyroid Cancer Support Group which was founded recently by Mary Mc Garry.

  3. Rebecca says:

So I downloaded the app, and I have to say I was pretty underwhelmed… the questions seem to be for people who have not been diagnosed with thyroid disease. I was looking forward to using this to track my symptoms. There’s no way to enter your existing numbers you have from the doctor, in Get Your Numbers – only a place to order Mary’s tests.

Also, the link on the Facebook site isn’t working.

I’d greatly welcome any recommendations on an app to monitor thyroid symptoms if there’s any about. Something like the iPeriod app but for Thyroid would be awesome.

  4. Micah says:

Is it possible that the app is available in other iTune Stores apart from the US?

  5. Hormone Replacement Doctor says:

What an AWESOME app! Can’t wait to get my web guy to put it up on our websites! I really think this can help so many of our clients suffering from thyroid issues and in turn, make it easier for us to treat them. Thank you Dear Thyroid for sharing this with me and the world! : )
