Thyroid Awareness Month (VIDEO) From Thyroid Patient Advocate, Mary Shomon
In honor of thyroid awareness month, Mary Shomon, renowned thyroid patient advocate and author has put together a magnificent video chronicling the countless misconceptions about thyroid disease and thyroid cancer, and how we as thyroid patients can be part of the solution when dealing with our health. The message is clear: educate, empower each other and others.
From me, educate doctors in the medical community who misdiagnose and mistreat patients. There are some amazing doctors! There are also some doctors who are clueless about thyroid disease and thyroid cancer.
