Dear Thyroid, I am writing to apply for the position of Healthy Individual

Dear Thyroid,

I am writing to apply for the position of ‘Healthy Individual’ as seen advertised in Life. I am available to begin this role at the earliest opportunity.

What interests me about your organisation is the complex nature of your activities; from energy reserves to communication and organic development to systems management. Such diverse interests exactly mirror my own as demonstrated by the last 25 years of my life (please see memory attached). This is also demonstrated by the comparative changes to our structures; for example I understand that you have recently experienced a period of rapid growth; this coincides with my own rapid growth.

Looking through your organisational reports, I see that the group Autoimmune Inc. alongside TSH are also undergoing comparative inflation, whilst your supporting components FT4 and FT3 have seen a decline in output. Having had a number of years working alongside Autoimmune Inc., I am aware that their business strategy can be complicated and difficult to overcome. Should you feel that your organisational structure is stable enough to counteract such a threat, I believe I am in a unique position to help you do so (as the mind and soul of this body).

Your humble (exhausted, foggy-brained) servant,

Ps. I urge you not to consider the application from Ovaries. Although generally capable, I have reason to believe that they have been taken over by Autoimmune Inc. and have since begun fluctuating within the market. They currently do not represent present a solid base from which to re-build this organisation as their actions remain too temperamental.

Bio: My name is Peri and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in about 2008, I think. Since then, I have found out by accident that I actually have Hashimoto’s and a couple of other autoimmune conditions to boot. I started my blog, Red Immune because I am fascinated about the causes of the condition (interestingly several family members has other autoimmune diseases) and I am only just learning that a synthetic pill is not going to do anything to counteract an immune response. The blog will chart my learning and the steps I take to try and make myself better, or better-er. I also have another blog, Red Perigrine, which focuses on travel, photography and the arts. I am about to graduate hence the job application style letter; just can’t get away from them.
