Acrostic Poem Using the Word: BEFORE
Brilliant (or so I thought), full of hope, healthy and uninterrupted.
Even though I was struggling with self-esteem, I was confident in my work; confident in who I was. I knew where I was heading. Switchbacks and roadblocks never derailed me. Unafraid of doctors or life.
Forgetfulness was never an issue.
Or fear, or exhaustion, or living life with wild abandon.
Revealing what I thought and felt was an articulate, intellectual experience; not emotional.
Eating whatever I wanted and, because I was running six miles a day, I maintained a healthy weight.
