Today we make our final stop on the blog tour at Jenifer Vogt’s blog A Thyroid Cancer Story. Jenifer was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 2007. After being diagnosed, Jenifer found that the most valuable information she could read was firsthand experience from a fellow survivor. For this reason, Jenifer began chronicling her own experience with thyroid cancer.

In her awareness post, Jenifer states something that perhaps many people don’t realize—every case of thyroid cancer is going to be a bit different. While all thyroid cancer survivors have to deal with cancer, we all deal with it differently. Yet we can all learn from each other, too. Please read Jenifer’s Bringing Sexy Out of the Thyloset post to learn how she deals with thyroid cancer and to see how she’s raising awareness. Be sure to connect with her in comments while you’re visiting her blog.

This may be the last stop on the Bringing Sexy Out of the Thyloset blog tour, but we will NOT stop raising awareness for thyroid cancer!

Dear Thyroid is asking everyone to please sign the petition sponsored by Stevie JoEllie’s Cancer Care Fund to have thyroid cancer recognized as a public health issue by the Office of the Surgeon General. Please take thirty seconds out of your day and sign the petition.
