Bringing Sexy Out of the Thyloset: LJ
Today Dear Thyroid is heading over to LJ’s blog, Take My Thyroid, Please! Like many of us, LJ started her blog when she was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer to keep track of her journey. LJ was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in July 2010 and had a total thyroidectomy at the end of August.
In her awareness post, LJ recounts the difficulty in telling others about her cancer diagnosis. This part of the journey is not often discussed, but it is so real and so difficult.
