It’s World Thyroid Awareness Day; do you know where your thyroid is?
How many of you have encountered someone who has NO idea what a thyroid is or where it’s located in the body? Sometimes, we need to get back to the basics. So starting today and throughout the rest of the week, we’re challenging you to ask at least three people, “Do you know where your thyroid is?” We are challenging you to use this opportunity to educate your friends and family about the importance of knowing the signs of a thyroid that isn’t functioning properly. We’re also challenging you to teach others how to do a proper neck check. Great resources are available for you and your friends at www.worldthyroidday.com. After you complete your challenge, report back here and let us know how it went by leaving a comment on this post. I think mine is on vacation! It took my energy with it!
Mine is in the shop – it’s broken and they are having trouble ordering the parts to fix it 🙁
Haven’t a clue. Had labs done today and go see endo next week if I can get there as the highway is closed due to flooding and the other way over the mountain is having falling rocks. We shall see!!! Wish me luck. Mary
I know exactly where mine is; sitting in the bottom of a large jar of formeldehyde in a pathology lab! I wanted to give it to my dog for dinner, but they said it was too unusual to waste. Pffft!
