I have been through so many doctors too and they would barely listen and then never really talk to me about options/risks with the various interventions. He believes different patients do well on different medications. He does not believe in a cookie cutter method of treatment. He will prescribe Synthroid, Levoxyl, Armour, Naturethroid, Westhroid, Cytomel, Compounded thyroid... whatever works best for the individual patient and what the patient wants to take. He asked me when "I" wanted my labs checked? He will check not only my TSH, but my free T's too! Also, he will adjust medications not only by a number from a lab value BUT based on your symptoms. He asked when "I" wanted to come in for a follow up. He respected me being a healthcare professional and what "I" had to offer him.
