Thyroid Queen Contest Entry, By Debbie Greene
My Image Of My Disease
My vision is a large sculpture of the beautiful Sally Rand dancing with her ostrich feathers. My sculpture would be a creamy white and depict her nude, with her arms crossed in front of her and the fans held up one on each side of her body, like a butterfly. This is how I would like to picture my thyroid once it is back to normal. Beautiful and full of life, doing the job for which it was intended.
