Did You Receive Your Thyroid Awareness Bands?
Hi-de-ho and gland tidings… Okay.
We have sent out over 3,000 thyroid awareness bands. Some, not many, a total of 20 were kicked back to us (not bad), and we have re-sent those out. All SASE’s received, we’ve also sent out. However, if the postage was less than what was stated in the Awareness Bands Post (2/61 cent stamps), they weren’t sent back to us. Have you received them? If not, please re-send a SASE with the correct postage to the address mentioned here. Let’s hope some postal worker is off spreading thyroid awareness for all of us.
If you haven’t received your bracelet or band, please let us know in comments and/or email us with your postal address, and let us know.
For those of you that would like to receive a FREE thyroid awareness band, please send a SASE and we will send one out. We have loads of bracelets.
Love,
Us

Casie – You want to send a SASE to the address listed in this URL: http://dearthyroid.org/awareness/awareness-bands/
Thanks for wanting to spread awareness, babycakes. The more we give face and voice to this disease, the greater our chances of invoking change.
Ciara – Did you order your bracelet before February 1st or after? If you ordered after February 1st, you do need a SASE. here is the URL of where to send it to: http://dearthyroid.org/awareness/awareness-bands/
If you ordered before February 1st, please email katie@dearthyroid.org straightaway, so we can re-send your bracelet.
FABULOUS, A! Love it. Love it. Love it. Please send a SASE using the correct postage listed to the address on this URL: http://dearthyroid.org/awareness/awareness-bands/
Amanda, You are hilarious. Okay, wait, so you did NOT get your bracelet?! Sorry. Yes, please do re-send a SASE, and thank you so much.
Julie – You are a peach, thanks, toots.
could someone please clarify correct postage, and what type of envelope?
Sure thing, Ana. Any envelope. You can order up to 4, and they are free. You need 2/61 cent stamps. A regular sized envelope will do. Be sure to denote the amount of bracelets you’d like.
Any questions, please let us know.
Thanks for spreading awareness!
Thank you! Ill be sending me SASE Tomorrow!
Fabulous, Casie!

Terrific! You want to send 2/61 cent stamps on a letter sized envelope to the address on this URL: http://dearthyroid.org/awareness/awareness-bands/
so we can just send a regular white envelope with 2 stamps on it to the address? does the envelope have to be sealed or unsealed? i just want to make sure i have it all right 🙂
Hi Ashton;
You are so fabulous. PS: love the icon. Yes, two stamps on one UNSEALED letter size envelope. You’re great, kid!
xo
Thank you! Thank you! I received my bracelet and have been wearing it PROUDLY ever since. (sorry to take so long to send this THANK YOU!) I even have a tan line from it! If I may, I will be sending a SASE and request another bracelet. I don’t ever want to be without one. Just today I showed it to a co-worker who’s daughter had her thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer.
I can’t fully describe the comfort I feel just by wearing this bracelet. It is a daily reminder that I am not alone in trying to find my way thru life with thyroid disease.
Oops! I’m starting to get misty eyed and mushy! But it just feels so GOOD to know I am not alone in this journey.
Thanks to all for being there!
Janene – Now, I’m teary eyed. What an amazing thing to say, we’re absolutely floored. Knowing that you feel less alone, is the greatest gift in the world.
If you do send a SASE, please be sure to write 3 bracelets somewhere, so we can send one to you and to your colleague and her daughter.
How is her daughter doing? How is she holding up?
A million XO’s
Hi there, I saw your post about these bracelets (what a great idea! 😀 )and I would really like to send you an envelope, but since I have to send it from the Netherlands I was wondering if I should put anything extra in that envelope.
I hope someone will read this. 🙂
greetings, Raf.
I am wanting to get 10 awareness bracelets, how many stamps would you need?!
