Ann Glanders is an author, poet and columnist. “Dear Ann Glanders” is a column that is near and dear to her heart. Ann’s desire is to reach out and help others with their thyroid, autoimmune and life journey. Ann has walked many miles with her health. Dear Ann Glanders is an opportunity for thyroid patients to ask questions about their disease, how that relationship with their disease impacts their lives, and relationships with themselves, among other things. Perhaps some of us want to reinvent ourselves? Perhaps we feel stuck in a rut? Or we need a friend along the way. Regardless of what the issue is, Ann Glanders wants us all to reach out and ask her questions. She’s here for us!

- Stroke in the Thalamus, 2002
- Thyroidectomy with papillary cancer, enlarged thyroid/goiter 2003
- APS blood disease causing lupus like flare ups
- CPS – Thalamic Pain from stroke
- 2nd Thyroidectomy 2010 (growth from residuals)
- Married 24+ years to my prince charming
