Much like last week; this week, YOU are going to write a mini Dear Thyroid Letter. The community rallied and wrote such beautiful, heartfelt letters about specific symptoms and or family issues, and so much more, that we wanted to try this again. Let’s put our best literary foot forward and write to our diseases.

    My disease has altered my lifestyle in these ways… I am thinking “Graves Disease” when I wake up in the morning, and when I go to sleep at night. The symptoms are letting up, but the idea of this consumes me. I try so hard to think about everything, notice everything, enjoy everything… but Graves is always whispering in the background.

    Fuck you, why me and why no let up. Haven’t you done your worse are you here just to haunt me now or is the fact you want to help but those rat bastard doctors just aren’t fucking getting it.
