“Will Fight For Myself”

In today’s Western medicine I have learned since my RAI treatment of my thyroid, that not only have they destroyed my thyroid, but pretty much destroyed my life.  I have suffered for 2 years and can get no help from doctors and I have decided to try alternative methods to get some relief.  Accupuncture and merely having a doctor that actually cares goes a long way on the road to recovery finally!

I had rai 16 years ago! I was miserable for 10 years. I was on low dose synthroid adjusted by my tsh! This does not work for people with hypothyroidism and really doesn’t work if you don’t have an active gland! Find a dr that will try different thyroid types! Find one that works. Be sure your medications are not adjusted by tsh only but by symptom relief! You can feel like yourself again! I am no longer feeling bad! Been on cytomel for 6 years! I exercise eat great and take supplements and of course take the right type of thyroid and a large enough dose to feel well! Good luck to you!
