Twelfth Entry: Thyroid Literary Contest – Three Words of Encouragement
Learn, flexible , share and laugh
Learn constantly Keep the brain happy Be it reading, research, learning a new hobby or doing crossword puzzles the more you use you noggin the sharper you will stay Knowledge is power.
Flexible. This goes both physically and emotionally. You don’t have to be a fitness guru just move about as much as possible stretch the muscles so that later years you are able to do more. And just as important bend a little life throws you curve balls all the time let some of those balls pass you by and relieve a little stress in life. You know the old saying don’t swear the small stuff
Share. Share your story, share a smile say thank you as often as possible. You just may make someone else’s day and I bet it has made you feel good before too. A smile is contagious just walk through the supermarket and smile at everyone you make eye contact with and watch it happen. And it costs you nothing
Laugh and laugh often it just feels good and does the soul good. It fills your lungs lightens your heart and sends those endorphin’s racing through your body.
