We have a beautiful new website thanks to Stephen Smith.
Now, thanks to @rambls, Dear Thyroid is about to have our very own forums. Another home for us to dish about the effects of this disease, good, bad, sad, irreverent, funny, happy, whatever we need to say, will be said. Of course the same rules apply, Thyrellas and Thyfellas. How kick assian is that?!
We have even more fabulous dish! Our very own community member Robyn Davis Hahn, is our official Dear Thyroid Forum Manager. We are so excited, we don’t know where to throw ourselves.
Our forums should be launched in a week or so, but we will keep everyone posted. Any ideas, thoughts, etc. you have, please let us know!
Our voices must be heard, loudly and proudly. The more we speak up and out about our respective thyroid diseases and cancers on our terms, and in our own way, the more awareness we create and hopefully, the more healing we benefit from.
As each of us have said, “We are thysistahs and Thybrothahs”. We have each others backs, and so much more. We have common personal goals and greater goals. Together, we will get there (wait, that was super Brady Bunch, wasn’t it?! Oh the shame.). We will. We will. We will.

No one is more excited than me! Katie, Liz, and I have been working on providing a community forum that is unique to the mission of “Dear Thyroid”. I am honored to help everyone affected by thyroid issues have a voice, get advice, rant and rave, and form lasting friendships. Thanks for the kind words, Katie. I have really enjoyed working on this site – y’all have a fantastic community here and I am excited to just be a little part of it.
The amount of information that is going to show up in a central location is going to be a ton of help for everyone with Thyroid disease. I have been to many forums in the past few years to find answers to my disease. None have been too helpful nor uplifiting as this site. I CANNOT express just how much this means to me – to have good listeners and funny people who are going through exactly what I am. I am really overjoyed. This will be a blast. I can’t wait.
