Comment Of The Day: July 13, 2010
NEW! Yes, we love trying new things at Dear Thyroid and ensuring that everything we do is interactive, so we can grow and learn from each other. After all, each of us is so very vocal, hardly shy. Wouldn’t you agree?
Once a month, we would like to spotlight thyroid bloggers. If you’re on our blog roll or not, tell us about your blog. We want to share you with others. One of the best ways to do that, is by writing a post about your thylicious read. If you’re interested in participating, please email us!
Onto today’s thyfeast!
O Thyroid! My Thyroid! Written by Karilee, a thyroid patient and advocate, and an absolute must read. Unfortunately, too many of us have walked this mile, I think. Here’s an excerpt from Karilee’s beautiful poem:
The doctors tell me that I’m all right;
Though I can no longer go out at night
They tell me it’s all in my head;
When morning comes, I’m still in bed
Thanks so much everyone for lending as much support to Karilee as you did, and for sharing more of you with us.
Today’s comment…
Anna says:
Thank you for sharing. This touched me deeply. I struggle daily with feeling like I am failing my family and not doing my wifely and motherly duties.
