Invisible Illness Poem by, Elaine Martinez
Being me- being invisible….. I became an introvert…I numb out ALOT!!… I feel vulnerable..I lost interest ….I kept silent too often…. I feel my life was interrupted….Everything made me feel bogged down…So Lazy..very lazy…Eager..so eager to feel me bubbling up inside again!!! I am no longer feeling as invible to me as I once was but today I am not who I once was or who I want to be…Not yet, but I have no hard expectations but I am full of expectancy!!
