It’s has been another week of trying to stabilize my meds…which I think are working. At the beginning of the week, I wasn’t feeling great–I was very tired and suffered awful migraines. Now, once again, I am beginning to feel much better, and even my legs are gaining muscle from physical therapy! I do this really fun activitity where I stand on two squishy circular pads, while trying to balance and stabilize myself. After that is accomplished, I throw a medicine ball at a trampoline and catch it twenty times from each angle. Not only am I strengthening my muscles in my legs, knees and ankles, but I’m having fun while doing it!

This whole thyroid situation has definitely taken its toll on me, and has been very stressful, but I can now take college apps off my list of worries! I just sent in my last college application today…which has taken a great weight off my shoulders, and boy, does it feel good. 🙂 I’ll be sure to keep you all updated.

FUN FACT: Apparently pumpkin seeds are rich in tyrosine, which is an amino acid that is very important in the functioning of the thyroid! Something to keep in mind around Halloween time. 🙂 (or anytime of the year!)

I’m hoping you all had a fantastic week! Have a safe & happy Halloween!

Sending much love and support your way,
