Last Week to BRING IT for Thyroid Awareness
Mary Shomon is the face of thyroid disease. Together with Dear Thyroid, we created “I Am The Face Of Thyroid Disease”, an awareness campaign that brings thyroidians together from across the globe. In video, many have shared their face, voice and photo essays, to support awareness.
This is the last week of thyroid awareness month. We’ve had several new videos, and we need more. TELL YOUR STORY. Let the world know your thoughts about your disease and how it affects you. As scary as it is, we need to be brave, SUPER BRAVE. Speak up. Log onto I Am The Face Of Thyroid Disease and Register, and upload your video!
Awareness is paramount to invoking change within the medical community and society. Stand up. Be proud. Be loud. Be yourself.
