Thirty-Sixth Entry: Thyroid Literary Contest – Three Words of Encouragement
“PLEASE hang in there”
I have had a lot of turmoil & emotional pain in my life. After discovering I have Hashimoto’s, I now realize how amazing it was/is that I was/am even able to cope at all. Soon after diagnosis (and before treatment 3 yrs later), I started having soooooo many of the symptoms that can accompany it … really SEVERE ones. There have been times that I have wanted to give up. I have many loved ones that know of my plight & have made me know that they care about keeping me around by saying “PLEASE hang in there”. That keeps me pushing on even when I certainly do not feel like it!
