This Week’s Acrostic Poem Word: ILLNESS (September 27, 2010)
This week’s word is: ILLNESS. Please write and submit as many poems as you wish. Keep writing. Keep submitting. The more we write, the more we learn about ourselves and our diseases. In addition, we learn that we aren’t alone. And, we send a very clear message to those who don’t understand thyroid disease and cancer – IT’S REAL. IT’S SERIOUS. IT’S LIFE CHANGING. Every letter, shout, rant, rave, et al, are testaments of what each person goes through (In their words. On their terms.) and how unique every single one of us are.
- Submit your poems via email to Katie
We want to heal and continue our campaign for awareness. We refuse to be invisible. We all must work together to achieve this goal. And, your words are GORGEOUS, APPRECIATED AND READ by more people than you realize.
