Thyceuticals and Health Care
Dear Thyroid:
Well, today I received my blood work results and it looks as though the new medication is not working, which I didn’t need the blood work to know.
My TSH.022 and my T4 .14! What I do not understand, is why the insurance company will not let me back on my cytomel, but on their generic! So, I wish the insurance company was carrying around the extra weight, the so-tired-I can-barely-move body, and the severe chills! Hmmmmm! Do you think they may change their minds?
OK!, Miss Thyroid, it is time for you and me to take action and fight this even more. True, I am just short of 60, but I will feel younger than 80! So, lets you and me make a deal. You try a bit harder to adjust and I will work harder in getting the doctor to listen to me. So, this way you and I will win!

I really wish insurance companies were more reasonable with our thyroid drugs. Thank you for sharing your story. I hope that you get your Cytomel back.
Sharen,
Even before I read your bio, I just felt that you are a positive person. The lighter spirit that you have will carry you through the difficulties you are facing. Thanks for writing. I think I caught a little of your light today.
So nice of you to want to work *with* your thyroid. We’re not quite there in my relationship yet 😉
After reading your letter…I’d give you your cytomel if I were an insurance company—hey! that’s an idea, send your insurance co. your letter
Well they had better approve your Cytomel again!I can’t believe you have to jump through so many #@*! hoops !OMG ,I don’t know how you’re able to write such a calm, humourous letter Sharon, bless your heart!I hope you get back on your meds quickly..ever thought of just going to Emerg with your Thyroid panel results and falling asleep on one of their stretchers!?Amazing how fast insurance companies move then!I’m sending positive, “get your butt in gear insurance co.” healing energy, get well Sharon,Deb
