Poetry in Motion by: Joanne Naso
When I see my neck,
what do I see,
Poetry,
Poetry in thyroidlessness
Poetry in thyroidlessness, walking with exhaustion,
keeps my eyes half open.
Poetry in thyroidlessness, see me gently sway, a wave of dizziness
envelopes me, will I ever move again?
I dread so many moments, and there’s so much I would change,
I need some graceful improvements, there’s so much to rearrange.
Poetry In thyroidlessness, so very close to me, a power indescribable,
swaying perilously.
Poetry In thyroidlessness, see me gently sway, a wave of nausea
strikes me, will it ever go away?
I fear so many moments, and there’s so much I would change,
I need some positive improvements, it’s so much in my way.
Poetry In Thyroidlessness, dancin’ inside of me, a power indescribable,
swaying unmercifully.
